Thoroughly bathe or shower in the morning and wear clean, comfortable clothing. Do not wear makeup, perfume, cologne, jewelry (including body jewelry). If your surgeon provided more specific bathing instructions, please follow them completely.

Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled procedure. If additional preparation time is required, you will be notified days in advance of your surgery by the Scheduling Department.

A friend, family member, or caregiver must drive you to the facility, remain during the procedure, and take you home. DO NOT plan to use taxis or other public transportation.

Bring a list of your current prescription and over the counter medications. While this information will have been obtained as part of your pre-surgery process, as an added safety measure, we ask you to bring this on the day of surgery.

Bring your insurance card/s and an up-to-date photo ID. This may be a valid driver's license, government-issued identification card, military ID, or passport. Again, while this information will have been verified, it is required at the time of surgery to fulllfill HIPAA guidelines.

If the patient cannot read, speak English or use sign language, an interpreter over the age of 18 will be required. If you need assistance arranging an interpreter, notify our Scheduling Department prior to your surgery date and we'll gladly make arrangements.
